The Beginning

When this map was just a twinkle in my eye I started with some guiding principles and imagery in a spiral notebook.

  • Intersecting figure-eights & clover-leafs
  • Deathmatch
  • Desert
    • Dusty
    • Dirty
    • Brown/Tan
    • Tattered cloth in wind
    • Howling wind
    • Sandstorm!
    • Moving? (Or appears to move)
    • catwalks
    • engine room machinery

From this list, albeit short, you can see the progression from thought to thought. Originally I had intended the map to be stationary, and I may resurrect some imagery for just that purpose for another map, or even a themed set.
